Anthro Inspired Dollar Tree Diy- Christmas Decor
Who doesn't love saving over $20?! Although, I will say you do have to be a teeny bit kooky and have a lot of patience for this one. I did paint each individual matchstick. Mmhmmm, I did. But I'm a girl on a budget and knew I could recreate this Anthropologie match holder with @dollartree items and achieve a very similar look.
🕯️
If you want to do this easy home decor diy, here's what you'll need:
*A box of matches
*A cute and small decorative jar
*Gift bag that has ribbon/string and a tag
Optional:
*Black paint (the matches truly don't need painted but I felt the need to irritate myself)
*A cork (I got mine off of another jar that was too large)
🕯️
It's that simple! I used the gift bag that this tag came on for some kitchen decor. It's really a two for one type deal with that.
🕯️
I love Anthro home decor but don't always have the money to splurge. I try to think outside the box a little and find ways to elevate my home decor but while sticking to a budget. We can all use the extra money, especially around the holidays. I also love this as a gift! Grab a nice candle, a cute basket, and add this. You'll have a fantastic gift for a hostess, friend, or family member. Gift giving doesn't have to break the bank. Just get creative!
🕯️
Now tell me, was painting each individual matchstick worth it? Is it a dupe?

Creating personalized home decor on a budget can be a fun and rewarding experience, especially during the holiday season. By utilizing inexpensive materials from stores like Dollar Tree, you can transform simple items into beautiful decorations that resemble high-end Anthropologie products. Consider incorporating natural elements like pine cones or holly for an extra festive touch. In addition to the match holder, think about other DIY projects that can complement your decor, such as creating wreaths from faux greenery or painting existing decorations to fit a cohesive color scheme. Sharing these projects with family and friends could also inspire them to join in the festive spirit! Moreover, personalized gifts can hold more meaning than store-bought options. You can fill the decorative jars with homemade treats or create unique gift sets including candles, tags, or even handmade ornaments. Hosting a crafting session with friends can be a great way to explore creativity, bond over shared interests, and prepare ahead of time for the holidays. Remember to document your DIY journey on social media using relevant hashtags like #DollarTreeDIY and #AnthroInspired for broader reach.
