Cheese Loves Her Patrons
Cheesecake the capybara loves you! She loves snacks more but we swear she loves you guys too 🤣
PS - capygrams are edible!
As a proud capybara parent, I often get asked what my sweet Cheesecake eats. It’s true, she absolutely loves her snacks, maybe even more than her wonderful patrons! When people ask about 'capybara dishes,' they're usually curious about what these gentle giants munch on, and I'm always happy to share our experiences. In the wild, capybaras are primarily herbivores, feasting on grasses and aquatic plants. They’re super efficient grazers! For a pet capybara like Cheesecake, replicating that natural diet is key. Her daily ‘dishes’ mostly consist of high-quality timothy hay – it’s essential for their dental health and digestion. Think of it as their main course, always available! Beyond hay, we incorporate a variety of fresh vegetables into her diet. Safe and healthy options include leafy greens like romaine lettuce, spinach (in moderation), and bell peppers. She also enjoys certain root vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes as occasional treats. It’s so much fun watching her eagerly munch on her veggie plates! Now, about those 'capygrams' I mentioned – they're her absolute favorite! For us, 'capygrams' are special, homemade edible treats that we prepare for her. They're often made from safe capybara-friendly ingredients like mashed sweet potato, blended hay, or even a tiny bit of plain, unsweetened fruit, all baked into little shapes. It’s a wonderful way to give her something extra special and show her how much she’s loved by her family and her amazing online community! Always remember to introduce new foods slowly and in small amounts, and consult with a vet experienced with exotic pets to ensure your capybara's diet is balanced and safe. Providing a diverse and nutritious array of 'dishes' keeps Cheesecake healthy, happy, and full of energy – ready to charm everyone she meets!
