Fairness and principle ✔️

Many of us have moments where we wonder why people treat us unfairly, and we may even try to justify their behavior by assuming they are facing difficulties. However, it's important to recognize that everyone faces challenges, including ourselves. What truly defines our character is how we respond to adversity and how we treat others in return. In my own experience, I realized that even when I was going through tough times, I chose not to respond with negativity or unfairness towards others. This approach brought a sense of peace and strengthened my values, reminding me that fairness and kindness are fundamental principles worth upholding. Writing poetry, like in my collection 'Between Heaven & Earth,' has been a powerful outlet for exploring these themes. It helps me articulate complex feelings about life’s hardships and the pursuit of fairness and understanding. Sharing these reflections encourages others to consider how their actions align with their personal principles. Upholding fairness does not mean ignoring injustice; rather, it involves striving to act with empathy, integrity, and consistency, even when faced with unfair treatment. This mindset fosters healthier relationships and a more compassionate society. Through self-reflection and artistic expression, we can cultivate greater awareness and commitment to these values in our daily lives.
