9 Mile Run Vlog💙

I’m training for the Disney Princess Half Marathon in February🏰✨

Had 9 miles on schedule today. Felt good running this route, it’s been a while. I love running over the Brooklyn Bridge. Got lucky too, it was pretty empty!

The weather in NYC was fairly warm, well, compared to what’s it’s been lately.

Are you running any races soon or training for anything?! Let me know in the comments!!💙⬇️

... Read moreTraining for a half marathon is an exciting journey filled with dedication and challenges. Incorporating longer runs into your routine, like the 9 miles I completed recently, helps build endurance and prepares your body for race day. It’s essential to choose routes that inspire you; for me, running over the Brooklyn Bridge offers stunning views and keeps motivation high. When preparing for a race, ensure you have the right gear. Wearing breathable fabrics, supportive footwear, and accessories can make a significant difference in comfort and performance. Outfits from brands like lululemon, including their Fast and Free Tights and Swiftly Tech tops, are great choices for long runs. It’s also important to listen to your body and treat yourself to proper recovery. Hydration and nutrition play vital roles in recovery, so enjoying hydrating foods and post-run meals high in protein can enhance your recovery process. Share your favorite running areas or any upcoming races you’re training for; connecting with fellow runners can be inspiring and encouraging. Let's motivate each other in the running community!
