Louis Armstrong House

Visited the Louis Armstrong House Museum recently, and it was such a special experience stepping inside the home of a jazz legend. 🎺✨

The house feels so personal—full of his records, photos, and stories that really bring his music and life to life. Walking through the rooms, you get a real sense of who Louis was beyond the trumpet: a warm, humble guy with a big heart.

The tour gave me a deeper appreciation for his impact—not just on jazz, but on culture and community. If you love music history or just want a meaningful NYC stop off the usual path, this place is a must-visit. #lemon8partner

Located in Corona, Queens, the museum showcases the home where Armstrong lived for over 30 years. With its designation as a National Historic Landmark, it celebrates not only his music but also his contributions to American culture and civil rights. Visitors can embark on guided tours that offer fascinating insights into Armstrong's life, his music, and the era he influenced. The museum houses his vast collection of records, photographs, and memorabilia, each telling a unique story of his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a global icon. The interior remains largely preserved, letting visitors step back in time and experience the environment that inspired so many of his works.
