... Read moreWhen it comes to finding your perfect foundation shade, it’s all about understanding your undertone and testing how the product blends with your natural skin color. From personal experience, I found Sephora's Best Skin Ever foundation in the shade 24N to be an excellent match for neutral undertones, offering a natural look without appearing too warm or too cool. On the other hand, the Born This Way line has some beautifully warm shades such as Chestnut and Toffee, which tend to suit warmer undertones better. In my search for the closest shade match, I realized that holding the foundation swatches side by side on my jawline helped immensely. Sephora 24N leaned slightly more neutral, whereas Chestnut in Born This Way offered a deeper, warmer tone, and Toffee was somewhere in between, leaning a little too warm for my personal preference. I also recommend testing the foundation in natural light to see how the shades appear during different times of the day. This prevents any surprises when stepping outside after application. Additionally, mixing small amounts of these foundations can customize the perfect match, especially if no single shade complements your skin tone entirely. Remember, the goal is to enhance your natural skin tone, so always consider how your skin reacts to the foundation formula as well—some may oxidize or change color slightly after application. By comparing Sephora 24N's neutral balance with Born This Way’s warmer Chestnut and Toffee shades, you can better understand which suits your complexion best for a flawless finish.

I would say Born This Way - Toffee looks to be the best match. Keep in mind your face can be slightly lighter or darker than your arm/hand so make sure you try it out on your face. ☺️
