TikTok isn't working.

Well TikTok isn't cooperating today. All of my morning posts are sitting at 0 views right now so it's either a glitch or I'm shadow banned on there.

That being said I will be posting on here today instead and hopefully TikTok sorts itself out by tomorrow.

One common cause is a glitch on TikTok's platform, especially during updates or server issues. Sometimes, videos show zero views temporarily but recover after a few hours. Another possibility is a shadowban, where your content is limited from appearing on others’ For You pages. Shadowbans can happen if TikTok detects content that violates its guidelines or for other less clear reasons. Unfortunately, TikTok doesn't provide direct notifications when this happens. If you suspect a shadowban, try these steps: - Review your recent posts for anything that might break TikTok’s rules and remove questionable content. - Take a short break from posting to reset the algorithm. - Engage more with other users by commenting and liking, which can signal activity beyond just posting. - Clean up your hashtags; avoid repetitive or banned tags. Meanwhile, it’s wise to diversify your social media presence. Posting on other platforms like Lemon8, Instagram, or Twitter can keep your audience connected and reduce reliance on one app's algorithm. Staying informed by following TikTok’s official channels or community forums can alert you to ongoing issues. Most glitches get resolved quickly, so patience helps. In summary, sudden drops to zero views often stem from either a temporary glitch or shadowban. Being proactive and adaptable with content strategy keeps your engagement steady while waiting for TikTok to sort itself out.
