Ingredients (Serves 4)

2 lbs jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on for presentation)

4 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)

1 tsp lemon zest (optional for extra brightness)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil (optional, helps keep butter from burning)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh curly parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prep the shrimp: Rinse shrimp under cold water, pat dry with paper towels.

2. Heat the pan: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and butter. Let butter melt completely.

3. Sauté garlic: Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant (do not burn).

4. Cook shrimp: Add shrimp in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

5. Add lemon: Pour in fresh lemon juice and sprinkle lemon zest. Stir gently to coat shrimp in the sauce.
