Back with another What The Holy Spirit is Teaching Me.
stewardship!
Reflecting on the Holy Spirit's teachings about stewardship has deeply reshaped my understanding of what it means to be a faithful steward in all areas of life. Stewardship isn't just about handling finances wisely; it's about being responsible and faithful with every gift God has entrusted to us—whether that concerns our time, relationships, talents, or roles in ministry. I've learned that stewardship requires honesty and vulnerability. There are moments when I question why certain dreams haven't yet been fulfilled or why I may feel stuck without promotion or advancement. These reflections have shown me the importance of faithfulness in the present season rather than rushing towards what I want. Serving God faithfully in the small daily responsibilities encourages growth and prepares me for larger callings. One key realization is that stewardship often involves uncomfortable conversations and difficult choices, especially when avoiding responsibility seems easier. Whether it’s managing friendships, marriage, leadership roles, or personal disciplines, stewardship demands obedience and trust that God honors faithfulness. In practical terms, I try to steward my relationships by being present and loving, honoring those God has placed in my life. Even in ministry, rather than focusing on outward success, I’m learning to embrace the size of the task—sometimes as small as a fist—and honor it with commitment and humility. Ultimately, stewardship is about honoring God through faithful management of what we’ve been given, trusting His timing and purposes. This mindset helps me stay grounded and aligned with God's desires, even when life feels uncertain or progress seems slow. My faith is strengthened by understanding that true promotion and growth come from consistent obedience and faithful service in all seasons.
