🇰🇷 Baseball in Korea – The Local Way to Have Fun! ⚾️

If you want to experience something truly local in Korea, go watch a baseball game! It’s one of the most popular and affordable activities and full of native Koreans cheering, dancing, and having fun 🫶

The game usually starts around 6PM, and it lasts quite long. We went at 7:30PM and it was still going strong past 9:30PM! Each game can run 3 hours or even longer since they go through multiple rounds.

One thing I found really interesting is that there are staff walking around the seats selling beer and snacks 🍺🍿 You don’t even have to leave your seat they’ll come to you!

It was super hot when I went (Korean summer weather hotter than SG🥵), but now that it’s autumn, it’s honestly the perfect season to go. The weather is cool, and the crowd energy is still amazing!

If you’re looking for a fun, easy, and local experience surrounded by native Koreans this is the place! 💛

... Read moreIf you're new to watching baseball games in Korea, one unique aspect you'll notice is how interactive and festive the environment is compared to what you might be used to. Korean baseball games are much more than just the sport; they're a full-on celebration. Fans often chant and sing together throughout the game, creating an infectious energy that makes you want to join in. The vendors roaming the stands selling cold beer and tasty Korean snacks like fried chicken and spicy rice cakes add to the comfort and convenience—you rarely need to leave your seat. The best time to enjoy a Korean baseball game is during autumn when the weather is cooler, and crowds are enthusiastic but comfortable. Unlike hot summer days, the mild autumn breeze lets you fully enjoy the lengthy three-hour games without getting overheated. For those wondering about baseball gear, though not covered in my visit, many local shops sell popular batting gloves and equipment, including brands tested in Singapore. It’s interesting to explore those if you're into playing baseball yourself after experiencing the game. Overall, Korean baseball provides a fantastic and affordable way to immerse yourself in local culture, mingle with passionate fans, and enjoy a lively evening out. Don’t miss it on your next trip to Korea!
