1980's
Then vs. Now....Wow, I'm amazed! I was 16 in the first picture, and "30-something" in the second picture...A lot of heartache, hardships, and hurt...But then again, there was also lots of love...positivity...compassion...I've learned life lessons that made me s very emotionally strong young woman, from being a SAHM at 19 years old with my firstborn daughter to being a Gramma of 4 Angels...The ONLY important things in this life are God, Family, Country, love, empathy, compassion, morals, and personal integrity...There's also being a good person, helping people {Like the unknown man who saw a mother of newborn triplets walking with 3 car seats, alternating 2 to 1 as she moved up the block in Las Vegas...This hero and his wife helped her by giving her a minivan to get to Reno where her parents lived (their children were grown so no need for the minivan)...He gave her his credit card for gas...Her loser husband kicked her out with no phone, money or a way to get to her parents in Reno NV...She hugged this man tightly, being very grateful and humbled...According to the subtitles in the video, the mother's father mailed this hero's credit card back to him along with a 5k cashier's check)...That's what's important in life...helping a mother of 3 newborns to get to safety from an abusive husband to give her the promise of a fresh start...This hero and his wife didn't have to help this mother, but they did...because it was the right thing to do...That mother will always remember a stranger's kindness and 30 years from now, she will still have that memory of the day an Angel in disguise gave her hope...
