I’m grateful but I’m definitely depressed. šŸ˜’

I don’t know what’s been going on lately. I’ve just been going through the motions with things.

It feels like I’m just here.

I’ve been trying to do things that make me happy but they aren’t working anymore.

I’m grateful that God has brought me through a lot this past year and opened many new doors for me.

I don’t breakdown crying all the time like I used to do at night but I’m starting to feel numb.

Y’all continue to pray for me. šŸ’š

Mental health professionals stress the importance of recognizing these conflicting emotions and addressing them with care. Journaling can be a powerful tool to track feelings and thoughts, while seeking support from friends, family, or therapists can provide invaluable perspective and relief. Engaging in self-care activities, such as meditation, exercise, or creative pursuits, can also assist in navigating these feelings. It's vital to surround oneself with a supportive community, whether in-person or through online platforms where shared experiences can foster healing. Joining support groups, whether local or virtual, can further enhance your emotional resilience, creating opportunities for deeper connections and shared understanding. With social media, platforms have emerged where these topics can be discussed openly. Sharing your journey and embracing vulnerability will not only help you but inspire others going through similar trials. Always remember, it’s okay to seek help and admit if you're struggling; true strength lies in acknowledging our feelings and reaching out to others. You are not alone in this journey towards emotional balance.
