Chocolate StrawberryCheesecake Cookies

Ingredients

6oz cream cheese

1/4 cup powder sugar

3/4 cup white sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1 egg yolk

1tsp vanilla extract

1 cup butter (two sticks)

2 3/4 cup flour

pinch of salt

2/3 diced strawberries

3/4 chocolate chips

cook at 350° for 13-15 mins

my thoughts: okay so the original recipe had you block the 6oz of cream cheese into 12 cubes then cover them with the powder sugar and put them in the freezer while you make the batter. personally i will not do this next time. i want the cream cheese to spread out more than it did. i’m just going to put them on the counter while i make the batter. then wrap them in the batter. i had enough batter to make LARGE cookies with the cream cheese inside. but i didn’t want to make them too big so i made some without the cream cheese and they both turned out amazing! my husband said they were the best thing I’ve ever baked.
