His will be done
According to His will” is the compass.
God isn’t a vending machine for our desires.
He’s a Father shaping hearts and guiding lives.
When our prayers align with His will,
they travel straight to heaven’s throne.

Reflecting on the verse from 1 John 5:14-15, "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us," I’ve learned how powerful it is to surrender our personal desires to God's greater plan. It's easy to fall into the temptation of treating prayer like a wish list, but true faith calls us to trust that God is shaping our hearts, not just satisfying our demands. In my own experience, when I began praying with the intention of aligning more closely with His will rather than asking for specific outcomes, I noticed a shift. My prayers felt more peaceful, and I started recognizing answers in unexpected ways. It's not about getting everything we want but about growing in trust that God’s timing and purpose are perfect, even when they're different from ours. Moreover, this approach to prayer cultivates patience and strengthens our relationship with God. He is not a vending machine for our desires — instead, He is a loving Father guiding our lives and preparing our hearts. This understanding has helped me face challenges with more hope, knowing that my petitions, when prayed according to His will, are heard at heaven's throne. Ultimately, embracing "His will be done" as the compass in prayer encourages us to seek holiness and alignment with God’s purpose. Sharing these reflections can inspire others to develop their faith with a renewed sense of confidence and spiritual depth.

Amen 🙏
