Book Review Room Tenant
This is Frieda's book that I spent the longest time reading.

The story of "Blake Porter," a good-looking man who lost his job, couldn't pay for his room, so he had to rent it, and the person who rented it was "Whitney," a good-looking woman who looked harmless, but after a few days, the room smelled rotten. There was a strange noise coming from her room that woke Blake up.
Plot / storyline is good, fun, not very fun, easy to read, easy to understand, read and feel strange, still do not know, probably because this book is run by a man who seems to be nervous and will make the reader nervous to follow, secretly annoying.
The first part of the story is not very fast. As you read it, it will gradually become faster and faster. The first part is not very interesting, but the middle part is more interesting. The puzzle starts a lot, so you can read it more and more, enjoy it, and stick to it in the end.
I guess it's hard to guess in part one, I don't know what's going to happen, but there's nothing that peaks, and I guess the breaking point is still, putting a breaking point is really House Maid, making something that should peak a lot, not peak a lot in part two, but it doesn't diminish the fun. As you know, Frieda's work, there's always something that surprises people.
The ending was unexpected. After something crazy, I didn't think it would end like this.
Overall, it's fun, but it feels weird. I don't know if it's a male-dominated story. But the plot, the peak, the breaking point, what is still Frida? It's a little easy to guess. But there are some peak things. It's still in my favorite position. But I like it as little as I read Frida's. Who's a fan of Frida's novel? I can't miss it. Who hasn't read a book or hesitated to buy it? It's all fun.

ถ้าใครกำลังเสิร์ชหา “ผู้เช่าห้อง / The Tenant” แล้วลังเลว่าจะซื้อดีไหม อันนี้คือมุมที่ผมอยากเสริมจากการอ่านจบแบบไม่สปอยล์นะครับ (ยังอยากให้ได้สนุกกับปริศนาด้วยตัวเอง) อย่างแรกคือโทนของ The Tenant (ผู้เช่าห้อง) จะเป็นระทึกขวัญแบบ “ความรู้สึกไม่ชอบมาพากล” มากกว่าสายแอ็กชันลุ้นระห่ำ ตั้งแต่ผู้เช่าคนใหม่ย้ายเข้ามา แล้วเริ่มมีรายละเอียดประหลาด ๆ ทั้งกลิ่นเน่า เสียงแปลก ๆ และพฤติกรรมที่ทำให้คนอ่านต้องคอยตั้งคำถามว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้นกันแน่ จุดนี้ทำให้บรรยากาศมันหลอนแบบค่อยเป็นค่อยไป ไม่ได้เน้นฉากโหด แต่เน้นความอึดอัดและความระแวงมากกว่า เรื่องจังหวะการเล่า ผมรู้สึกว่าช่วงต้นมันจะเหมือนปูพื้นชีวิตตัวละครเยอะหน่อย โดยเฉพาะฝั่งตัวเอกที่กำลังเครียดจากปัญหางาน/เงิน เลยมีความคิดวน ๆ บ้าง ถ้าใครชอบนิยายที่เข้าเรื่องเร็วมากอาจต้องให้เวลากับเล่มนิดนึง แต่พอเข้าช่วงกลาง ๆ ปริศนาจะเริ่มทับซ้อนขึ้น อ่านแล้วอยากรู้ว่า “สรุปผู้เช่าคนนี้คืออะไร” และ “อะไรจริงอะไรหลอน” จนช่วงท้าย ๆ จะไหลไวขึ้นมาก แบบหยิบมาอ่านแล้ววางยาก อีกจุดที่คนถามกันบ่อยคือ “หักมุมเดายากไหม?” สำหรับผม ความสนุกของเล่มนี้ไม่ได้อยู่ที่พีคแบบช็อกที่สุด แต่อยู่ที่การปั่นประสาทและการพาเราไปเชื่อ/ไม่เชื่อทีละนิด บางคนอาจเดาทางได้บางส่วน แต่ก็ยังมีลูกเล่นระหว่างทางที่ทำให้ภาพรวมยังสนุกอยู่ดี แนะนำสำหรับคนที่: ชอบนิยายระทึกขวัญอ่านง่าย สำนวนไม่ยาก ชอบความลึกลับในพื้นที่ปิดอย่าง ‘ห้องเช่า/อพาร์ตเมนต์’ และอยากได้เล่มที่ความเข้มข้นค่อย ๆ ไต่ระดับ ส่วนคนที่คาดหวังความพีคหนักมากหรือจังหวะเร็วตั้งแต่หน้าแรก อาจต้องปรับความคาดหวังนิดนึง สุดท้ายถ้าเห็นปกไทยของสำนักพิมพ์ Words (มือยื่นผ่านรอยแตกของประตูไม้ มีรอยเลือด) แล้วกลัวว่าจะโหดมาก ส่วนตัวผมมองว่าปกทำให้บรรยากาศน่ากลัวขึ้น แต่การเล่าเรื่องจริง ๆ จะไปทางจิตวิทยาและความระแวงมากกว่า ใครอยากลองงานของ Freida McFadden อีกเล่ม The Tenant (ผู้เช่าห้อง) ก็ถือว่าเป็นตัวเลือกที่อ่านเพลินและชวนให้คุยต่อได้ครับ
