Book review. Operation Cognate Hunt.
As good as hoped.

The story of "Hoshino Seiji," a former retired policeman whose suspicions of catching the wrong culprit in the serial murder of a girl, forced Seiji to cooperate with his young nephew "Asahi," to revive the case in order to lead to another police investigation.
The plot / storyline is great, the fun, the investigation is intense, the complexity is growing, there's a bit of confusion at the end, but overall it's easy to understand, it seems to be a common story, but no, the amazing thing is to find a real killer to save an innocent person who's been in prison for years, the collaboration between a retired cop and a young boy, and most importantly, the use of online media to tell a story to make it social.
The story is not very fast. It tells about Seiji and Asahi's investigation, and a little bit of the killer's point of view is inserted, which makes it interesting. Many puzzles and characters are questionable, making it read continuously. It may be boring in the middle because it is quite long, but I don't want to put it on my hands.
It's hard to guess the content. It's not a typical investigation, so I can't guess what the characters are doing, but I don't feel like there's a peak event. And the killer's guessing is very difficult. A lot of the characters are suspicious. I guess, but it's not right. The answer to the peak is not very suspicious.
The ending is considered as good as having concluded a little case, making it more understandable after the previous, a little confused.
Overall, very good to very good. Very fun. The investigation is intense. There is a bit of confusion at the end. But overall, easy to understand. There is no peak event. But the real peak villain before reading is quite expected. After reading many books, the professor likes it. This book is not disappointed. It is considered another teacher to watch and follow every book of the work. Anyone who has read the teacher already likes to recommend it.
The teacher wrote "Murder Addiction Series," "Deadly Cold," "Dear Psychopath," and another book I haven't read, "Closed Night in Uzukawa Village."
