The body of a rich woman was found in her own house, the body was stabbed, the property in the house was gone, it looked like a robbery case, but her dog was gone.

Within time of the close, a female writer finds a man leading a dog supposedly belonging to a millionaire, an elderly woman recently deceased, tracing to find that the man had been in prison for manslaughter before, leading her to suspect that the man was probably the culprit in the case.

The plot / storyline is good, fun, dark investigation, more detailed and complex than I thought, but it's still easy to read. What makes this book different from the others is that there are dogs involved in the case, which is not very common in investigative fiction.

The story is not very fast, it tells many characters, and also the dog's point of view, which is interesting, the puzzle is worth searching for, making it easy to read, enjoyable, not boring, very addictive.

It is difficult to guess the content before reading, thinking that there is nothing, but there is more than what I think. There is little to guess, but there is not much to the peak. The guess of the killer is also difficult. Not only suspicious people, but no one is suspicious.

At the end of the story, everything was about the ex-accused with the victim's dog, and it was actually the main character. I knew it wasn't the unsub, but the truth was unpredictable.

Overall, I like having dogs involved. It is different from other investigations. It makes the case more interesting. And there is more to it than I thought. Before reading, seeing the cover, it looks bright. I think it is smooth. There is nothing to read. The investigation is intense, complicated, not losing the brutal case at all. But it is not heavy. Lightly, I can read it gradually. Enjoy. Anyone who thinks that you should like it, try it.
