Now, let's get your League of Legends gameplay into OBS. This is often where beginners get stuck! Create a Scene: In the 'Scenes' box at the bottom left, click the '+' button and name your scene something like "LoL Gameplay". Add a Source: In the 'Sources' box next to 'Scenes', click the '+' button. You have a few options here, but for League of Legends, 'Game Capture' is usually the best. Select 'Game Capture', name it "League of Legends", and click OK. Configure Game Capture: In the properties window that pops up, change the 'Mode' to 'Capture specific window'. Then, for 'Window', select '[LeagueClient.exe]: League of Legends' or whatever League of Legends window is currently open (e.g., during a match). Make sure the game is running in the background while you're setting this up! Next, sound is crucial! You'll want your viewers to hear both your game audio and your voice. Desktop Audio: OBS usually picks up your desktop audio automatically. Check the 'Audio Mixer' section. If you see activity when LoL sounds play, you're good! If not, click the settings cog next to 'Desktop Audio' and ensure the correct output device is selected. Microphone Audio: Similarly, locate 'Mic/Aux' in the 'Audio Mixer'. Click the cog, go to 'Properties', and select your microphone from the 'Device' dropdown. Test it out by talking! Remember to adjust the volume sliders in the mixer so your voice and game aren't too loud or too quiet relative to each other. For a more personal touch, you might want to add a webcam.
