Holographic or 'foil' cards are often rarer, and then you get into ultra rares, secret rares, and full arts, which are incredibly exciting to pull! You can also find a set symbol there, telling you which expansion the card belongs to, which is super helpful for identifying them. As I've been building my collection, I've also picked up a few tips for keeping cards in good shape. Sleeving your cards immediately after opening a pack is a game-changer – it protects them from scratches and bends. If you have really special cards, like that Mewtwo ex HP150 or a shiny Celebi, top-loaders or even a binder with proper pages are a must. It keeps them pristine, especially if you ever decide to get them graded or just want to show them off later. It's been such a journey discovering all these amazing Pokémon cards.
