I saw families enjoying their time there, and it just felt like such a welcoming entry point to the park's deeper trails. There's ample parking nearby, which is always a bonus when you're eager to start exploring without any hassle. From the picnic area, I ventured onto some of the hiking trails that crisscross the reservation. The beauty of Bedford Reservation is its diverse topography, with trails ranging from easy, paved paths perfect for a leisurely stroll to more challenging, rugged routes for seasoned hikers. I particularly loved the paths that wound alongside Tinkers Creek. The sound of the water, the dappled sunlight through the canopy, and the fresh air were just so invigorating.
