... Read moreMy journey to truly understand what it means to 'thrive' has been deeply impacted by two profound concepts: 'sow agreement' and 'sustenance.' For a long time, I heard these terms, but it wasn't until I truly delved into their meaning that my perspective shifted. Let's talk about 'sow agreement' first. The image I saw really hit home when it distinguished between 'IT IS SO' (agreement) and 'IT IS SOW' (adjustments). I used to think agreement was just a mental nod, but it's much more. 'IT IS SO' means genuinely accepting a divine truth or promise as an established fact in my life, right now. It's about aligning my mindset and my heart with what I believe to be true, regardless of current circumstances. For instance, if I believe in 'God's provision,' then I agree that 'it is so' – that provision is already a part of my reality, even if I haven't seen it manifest yet. But here's where 'IT IS SOW' comes in, and it's essential. This is where the 'adjustments' happen. My agreement isn't passive; it requires me to plant seeds, to make changes, and to take action in line with what I've agreed upon. If I've agreed that God will provide, then my 'sow' actions might involve being diligent in my work, managing my resources wisely, or even stepping out in faith to help others. It’s about being a co-creator, making room for the provision to flow. I’ve found that when I make these 'sow' adjustments, the path to experiencing my agreement becomes clearer. This brings me to 'what is sustenance,' which is beautifully defined as 'God's provision' – a divine act of supplying needs for physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. For me, experiencing true sustenance isn't just about having enough food or money. It's a holistic sense of being supported and nourished. Physical wellbeing: This looks like having the energy for my day, access to healthy food, and a safe place to rest. I've learned to appreciate the small acts of provision, like a sudden burst of energy when I felt drained, or finding exactly what I needed at the grocery store. Emotional wellbeing: This is about peace, resilience, and comfort during challenging times. I remember a period of intense stress, and I felt this amazing sense of calm wash over me – that was God's provision for my emotional state, reminding me I wasn't alone. Spiritual wellbeing: This is my connection to something greater, my guiding compass, and the sense of purpose that fuels my 'THRIVE I EXPECT' outlook. It’s the inner strength and wisdom that helps me navigate life’s complexities. Recognizing 'God's provision' in all these areas has been transformative. It wasn't always obvious to me. I had to learn to look for it, to acknowledge it, and to be grateful for it. And the underlying truth that empowers all of this is the profound statement, 'GOD DID THE NECESSARY!!!' This isn't just a phrase; it's an anchor for my faith. It means that the foundation has been laid, the work has been done, and everything needed for my sustenance and my ability to thrive has already been set in motion. When I face doubts, remembering that 'GOD DID THE NECESSARY' allows me to release worry and trust in the process. Embracing 'sow agreement' and understanding 'God's provision' as holistic sustenance has truly changed how I approach life. It's about living with an expectation to thrive, knowing that the divine support is always there, and that my active participation through 'sow' adjustments helps bring that agreement to fruition.
