Day 16/30

Day 16. I’m so grateful for my job. I’m an assistant for a financial advisor/CFP. The office is small me, my boss, his wife and one other assistant who is in the process of becoming a CFP. Most days are long, some days they are longer but work is only as bad as the people around you and I’m surrounded by some great people. Though I know my position doesn’t have any exponential growth within pay or tasks (unless I get certified) I know I’m doing something I’m good at. My dream is not to be a millionaire CFP or anything close to that. My dream is to one day have kids and be a stay at home Mom. I pray everyday to be blessed with that opportunity and though the day has not come I still have faith. I love my job, and my boss/coworkers and I feel like I have it pretty good and even though this isn’t my dream it’s where I’m at and I’m thankful. Work for people who respect you, work for people who look out for you, don’t settle because of a good paycheck or flashy title because what you are doing now isn’t forever (enjoy it you don’t get that time back) and hopefully one day through dedication and prayer you end up with your dream job.
