A wide aperture (f/2.8 or lower) lets in more light, while a higher ISO (800–3200) increases the sensor's sensitivity, but be mindful of noise. A long exposure time, typically between 15 to 30 seconds, helps collect enough light for bright stars, but too long an exposure can cause star trails due to Earth’s rotation, unless star trails are your artistic intent.
