Our Cancun Trip: Destination Wedding Venue Tour
I recently took a trip with my fiancé to tour our destination wedding venue in Cancún! My fiancé really wanted to get married at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, and we ended up choosing a hotel called Hyatt Ziva Cancun. We were won over by on the gorgeous ceremony venues, glowing hotel reviews, reasonable wedding package options, and well-priced hotel rates for guests compared to similar quality all-inclusive resorts. This is an extremely popular destination wedding venue with a wedding basically every day during peak season. On the plus side, the hotel staff are pros at weddings, and our designated hotel wedding coordinator is very helpful and knowledgeable. On the other hand, keep in my mind that yours may not be the only wedding at the resort during your wedding weekend.
There are multiple event spaces around the resort. Here are the three ceremony venue options that we considered (but there are others, including a ballroom option). Let me know in the comments which one you would choose:
Ceremony Venue Option 1 - Cliffside Gazebo

After the ceremony, we will have guests go to a nearby lawn area for our cocktail hour.
Finally, our reception will be on a rooftop terrace with panoramic ocean views. The space is basically blank canvas that we will need to fill in with a dance floor and furniture rentals.
We still have a lot of planning to do, but we are so excited for wedding at Hyatt Ziva Cancun !
