Winter beach stop
Stopping to see a body of water, be out in nature, and collect some rocks, is something I make sure to take time for every single week. My therapist actually recommended I go at least 2x a week if possible, after I told her it’s the only time my brain is quiet & calm. And lucky for me, I live near two of the Great Lakes! Taking that time to get outside and explore, even if it’s just for a few minutes, has honestly been a life saver at some points over the last year. I leave with a clear & refreshed mind, usually a couple rocks, too. What do you do to help maintain your mental health?
