👻Creepy Book Alert👻
Full. Body. Chills.
I was looking over my shoulder in broad daylight. There’s no way I could have read this at night. The movie (with Blake Lively *swoon*) is going to be WILD.

Charlie and Eve are a young couple who have made a career out of buying and flipping old houses. When they find a house that is not only gorgeous, in a great mountain neighborhood, and in their price range, they jump on it. Everything is going fine until one night when Charlie is working late, a family knocks on the door. “Sorry to bother you so late… I grew up in this house,” the man says but Eve can’t get the feeling out of her head- if she lets them in, they will never leave.
The atmosphere Marcus Kliewer creates in this book is claustrophobic, disorienting, and terrifying. From the first page with the family you KNOW something is off, but you can’t figure it out. The narrator, Eve, is disoriented. YOU are disoriented. At times I would think “man this is creepy as hell,” but would have no idea why. If the producers and directors stick to the story, the movie will be incredible.
