The story:

The Hollow sisters have always been oddities. Ten years ago they went missing for a month, and when they came back, something was off. None of the girls could remember any of the events that happened to them while they were gone. Their once blue eyes were now black, and their dark hair is now a platinum white. The bond between the sisters is almost unnatural, and their abilities to affect those around them is one of the eeriest parts about them.

My thoughts:

This book was so creepy, gross, and atmospheric it was the perfect way to relax and celebrate the autumn equinox. Literally my face cringed so many times. Think rot and decay, but add mystery and a murderous man with a Minotaur skull for a head or the upside down from Stranger Things and add in the creepy, disorienting atmosphere of Midsommar.

Recommend if you love the weird, the creepy, and the nauseating. Not going to go into details, but there’s like, A LOT of insects 🫣
