🙌Title(s): Cat and Mouse Duet: Haunting Adeline and Hunting Adeline

📖Author: H.D. Carlton

⭐️Overall rating: 9.5/10

🔥Review: If I could read this series for the first time again, I would. This series was suggested to me by a friend. At first I was very unsure about reading it. Once I started to read it, I could not put it down. This books had me feeling so many different emotions! They had me angry, anxious, and crying my eyes out. I wasn’t sure if I should hate Zade Medows or what, but I love him. Zade may be hypocritical, but his heart is in a good place when it comes to his job. Adeline, girl, you better keep that man because there are a lot of us book girlies that would willingly take him off your hands. These book will have you questioning yourself, on what you really want in a relationship. After reading this series you may have a hard time finding a man who checks off boxes on your dream man list. Zade Medows will be making you add any things to that list. Make sure you reading Haunting Adeline first as if you don’t you will be very confused.

🙌Title: Little Stranger

📖Author: Leigh Rivers

⭐️Overall rating: 8.5/10

🔥Review: I was very unsure of this book before going into it because of the taboo relationship. I kept an open mind as I read the book and I would read it again. I think that many people would be turned away due to the taboo relationship in the book, but once you get into the book you forget about it. This book is in my top 5 of favorite books currently for the year. Make sure you read the trigger warnings for this book, there are many different hints that happen that some may not want to hear about.

🙌Title: The Mindfuck Series

📖Author: S.T. Abby

⭐️Overall rating: 10/10

🔥Review: I cannot pick my favorite book out of this series, all of the book keep you invested, they keep you on the edge of your seat. People are crazy about Zade Medow, but have they heard of Logan Bennett? Logan Bennett is a one in a million, he always has Lana’s back, never wants her to feel like she has to do anything alone, even if it does risk his career. This series definitely has twists that make the series so much better. I could read this series over and over again and never be board. This series was recommended to me, the title definitely threw me off, so don’t focus on the title. Yes, the series has twists that will make you think and you will think you have it right and the BAM you are wrong! Make sure you read the series in order, otherwise you will be lost. This series is based on a very touchy subject for a lot of people, please make sure you read the trigger warnings before diving in.

... Read moreOkay, book besties, I absolutely HAVE to gush more about S.T. Abby's Mindfuck Series. While the original review gave it a perfect 10/10, I want to dive a bit deeper into why specific titles like *Scarlet Angel*, *All Lies*, and Paint It All Red make this series an absolute must-read, especially since I know many of you are searching for insights into these very books! First off, if you're looking for a series that truly lives up to its name, this is it. Each book, from Scarlet Angel to All Lies and *Paint It All Red*, keeps you guessing. The plot twists are so masterfully woven that just when you think you've figured it out, BAM! You're wrong, and it's exhilarating. For those of you who appreciate books where the protagonist is up against powerful forces, the involvement of 'The Feds' that the OCR picked up on isn't just background noise; it's a central, gripping element that adds layers of tension and high stakes to Lana's quest for 'Revenge.' You'll find yourself rooting for her every step of the way, even when the odds seem insurmountable. What truly elevates Scarlet Angel and the subsequent books for me is the dynamic between Lana and Logan Bennett. The original review mentioned Logan, and honestly, he's one of those male leads who will ruin you for all others. The 'Opposites Attract' trope is taken to a whole new level here. He's not just a love interest; he's her unwavering rock, always having her back, even if it means risking everything. This isn't just about romance; it's about loyalty, deep connection, and finding someone who empowers you to be your truest, most vengeful self. Reading All Lies specifically, you see how their relationship is tested and strengthened amidst betrayals and revelations, making their bond even more compelling. And let's talk about *Paint It All Red*. This book, like the others, contributes to the overall feeling of being completely invested. The way S.T. Abby crafts the narrative ensures that you're constantly on the edge of your seat, desperate to know what happens next. The series doesn't shy away from dark themes, but it always feels purposeful and impactful, contributing to Lana's journey from victim to powerful orchestrator of her own justice. If you're hesitant because of the title or the genre, please, give it a chance. Just make sure to heed the trigger warnings, as some subjects are indeed touchy. Trust me, once you start, you won't be able to put them down. The emotional rollercoaster is intense – anger, anxiety, even tears – but it’s all worth it for the satisfying conclusion.
