Best tools to groom my fur baby.
What are your tips, tricks, hacks and anything else to groom this fur baby of mine. He’s 5 months as of the 15th of this month. He doesn’t like to be still and it’s a whole workout to try and even brush him. Anyone use the peanut butter trick? Or anything else? Tryna save $$ where I can if I can. #lemon8contest #AskLemon8 #dogmom #dogmomlife #groomingdogs
Grooming your dog can be a challenge, especially if they are wiggly like a puppy! It's important to have the right tools to make the process smoother. Begin with a good quality brush specifically designed for your dog's fur type. Long-haired breeds may benefit from a slicker brush, while short-haired pups might need a rubber grooming mitt to remove loose hair. For those who struggle with keeping their dog calm, consider treating them with peanut butter on a lick mat, a trick many dog owners swear by. It keeps your furry friend distracted while you groom them. Additionally, using grooming sprays or wipes can help manage dander and give your dog's coat a fresh look. Regular grooming is important not only for appearance but also for the health of their skin and coat. Always remember to check your pet for any signs of discomfort and make grooming a positive experience with plenty of praise and treats!
