TODAY IS THE MONDAYEST TUESDAY EVER!!!

For example, when my kid refuses to wake up despite multiple attempts, offering encouragement and setting small goals like ‘just put your feet on the floor’ can sometimes help move things along, even if it takes a while. Last-minute breakfast demands are also a challenge. I find it helpful to keep quick, easy options on hand for those moments—things like pre-made sandwiches, fruit cups, or protein bars—with some freezer favorites like hot pockets for a special treat. But sometimes, no matter how prepared you are, a spontaneous hot pocket craving leads to a delay and adds to the chaos, just like it did for me. Pets add their own twist. My dog wanted breakfast and outdoor time right when we were rushing, reminding me that managing fur babies is a full time job as well. Trying to get out the door with both a toddler and an energetic pet means expecting delays. At home, little things like discovering your mop broke right as you start cleaning or having to put dirty shoes in the dryer because they didn’t dry overnight can feel overwhelming early in the day. What helps me is reminding myself it’s okay to pause, regroup, and tackle tasks later if needed. Those imperfect moments are part of everyday life.
