🌸Fruity floral SOTD

#sotd #lemon8challenge #fyp #fyplemon8 #unfiltered

Today I went with simple and floral with some fruitiness. This doesn’t last long but it’s a body mist so can always spray more. This can be sprayed from any angle and the bottle is cute. I will be experimenting with this for sure this summer to see what I can conjure up combo wise. If you do not like floral you may not like this one.

... Read moreHey everyone! Following up on my SOTD post about the lovely Fleur de la Passion fruity floral body mist, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why I love body mists, especially this one, and share some tips I've learned to really make them work for you. I mentioned this 100 mL mist doesn't last super long on its own, which is totally common for body mists, but that doesn't mean you can't get the most out of your scent! One of my favorite things about body mists, like this Fleur de la Passion, is how versatile they are. Since it's a hair and body mist, you can literally spritz it all over – not just on your skin but also a light cloud in your hair for an extra burst of fragrance that moves with you. This is especially great for summer when you want something light and refreshing without the intensity of a heavy perfume. The convenience of a mist you can spray from any angle is also a huge plus for those quick touch-ups throughout the day! To help your fruity floral body mist last longer, I've picked up a few tricks. First, always apply it right after showering when your skin is still a little damp. Your pores are more open, and your skin is hydrated, which helps 'lock in' the scent. Another tip is to moisturize! Using an unscented lotion or a matching scented one (if you have it) before your mist creates a perfect base for the fragrance to cling to. I also love spraying it on my clothes, especially lighter fabrics like scarves or linen shirts – just be careful with delicate materials. And let's talk about layering! I'm so excited to experiment with this Fleur de la Passion mist this summer. The beauty of a fruity floral scent is that it's often bright and uplifting, making it a fantastic base or top layer for other fragrances. For a truly vibrant summer combo, I might try layering it with a pure citrus essential oil rollerball on pulse points, or even a vanilla-scented lotion to add warmth and depth. If you want to enhance the floral notes, look for a jasmine or rose-scented body cream. For more fruitiness, anything with peach or berry notes would be divine. The goal is to create your own unique scent story! Why choose a body mist over perfume? For me, it's about the feeling. Perfumes are often more concentrated and formal. Body mists, on the other hand, are like a light, airy hug. They're perfect for casual days, post-gym refreshment, or just when you want a little pick-me-up without committing to a strong scent. Plus, they're usually more affordable, which means you can have a few on rotation! The 100 mL size is perfect for tossing in your bag for on-the-go spritzes. So, if you're like me and adore a good fruity floral scent, don't let the shorter longevity of a body mist deter you. With a few smart application techniques and some fun layering experiments, your Fleur de la Passion (or any other fruity floral body mist!) can be a delightful and long-lasting part of your daily routine. Happy spritzing!
