#emergingcreator #easyrecipes #CookingwithLemon8

1 block feta

50 g flour

1 egg, whisked

sesame seeds (a lot😁)

100 ml oil

honey to taste

Heat oil on medium in skillet.

Put flour on a plate. Whisk egg in a bowl large enough to hold the feta block. Put sesame seeds on a separate plate. Dredge TWICE.

Cover the block on ALL sides, flat and long with flour. Then dip the block in the egg, saturating the entire block. Repeat.

After the second dredge, do the same thing with the seeds. Cover all sides, flat and long. Make sure the whole block is covered.

Transfer to skillet. Fry the flat sides 2-3 minutes, until seeds are golden. Use tongs to fry the long sides, about a minute.

Transfer to plate and drizzle with honey.

Serve warm. Enjoy!

... Read moreIf you love Mediterranean flavors and want a quick appetizer that feels gourmet, this crispy sesame-crusted feta is a total winner. The key is really in the double dredging process—flour, egg, and then sesame seeds twice—to get that perfect crunchy coating that locks in the creamy feta texture. Personally, I like to use organic brown sesame seeds for a nuttier taste and richer color, which also adds a nice crunch. When frying, medium heat is important so the seeds turn golden without burning, giving you that beautiful toasted flavor. It’s handy to use tongs to carefully turn the block and fry all sides evenly. I usually leave the honey drizzle optional because you can adjust the sweetness to your liking, balancing salty and sweet perfectly. For a twist, you can add some dried oregano or chili flakes to the flour for an extra kick of Mediterranean spice. Also, serve it with warm pita bread or a fresh green salad to make a light yet satisfying starter. This appetizer is great for quick parties or even a cozy solo snack—the warm, crunchy, and gooey feta combo never disappoints!
