Proverbs 16:3

As I've explored further into Proverbs 15 and 16, I've noticed recurring themes that reinforce this. For instance, Proverbs 16:1 reminds us that 'The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.' This really emphasizes that while we plan, God ultimately directs our words and outcomes. Then there's Proverbs 16:9, 'A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.' These verses together paint a powerful picture of partnership with God in our daily lives. I've found it incredibly helpful to journal about these verses, reflecting on how they apply to my specific situations. Sometimes, it’s about a career decision; other times, it’s about how to respond to a challenging situation with grace.
