🇯🇵Can’t stop thinking about this YAKINIKU spot
Have you tasted beef that tastes like butter?
This yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo was recommended by a Japanese friend. It’s one of best meals we had in Japan thus far. Their exceptionally good beef is best described as melt-in-your-mouth and very butter-like.
@mikasa_yakiniku is located close to Kanda station, along one of the quieter alleys. The restaurant has private Japanese-style dining rooms with tatami floor mats which can accommodate up to 4 to 6 pax. You will have to take your shoes off.
Every dish from start to finish was a hit, including their appetisers, condiments and desserts. If you are planning to head there, just go for their beef platter set featuring 6 different meat cuts, beef Sando and egg pudding ice cream. Their beef cuts here are super tender and it has this heavenly rich and buttery flavour.
Prices aren’t very pocket-friendly but worth every cent if you travelling to Japan to have a life-changing gastronomic meal. This would be it. Hidden gem? Absolutely.
