ðŽïļ A step further! China tested the "S600 floating wind turbine," producing fire from the atmospheric wind. ðĻðģâĻ
Most recently, China successfully tested the S600 version of the "Airborne Wind Turbine," a new technology that will break the limits of conventional clean energy. ð
ðĄ How cool is this innovation?
Trap high-altitude winds: This system is sent up to a height of more than 500 meters, a level where wind currents are faster and more constant than on the ground, producing electricity consistently throughout the year. âĄ
It uses 40% less material: because it doesn't require supporting poles or enormous concrete foundations like regular turbines, making construction costs lower and more environmentally friendly. ðïļ
Limited space is not a problem: it is very suitable for hard-to-reach areas, such as on high mountains or remote islands, using high strength cables sending power back down to ground stations. ð
ðą The future of clean energy.
Although still in the process of testing and development (Pilot Project), the success of this S600 project shows that we can actually harvest energy from the sky and could become a major turning point for countries with limited space to access cheap clean energy in the future! ððŦ
