What happened? In a simple summary:
📌 The beginning of the problem: An unpromising person applies simple photos of individuals and youth to an AI visualization tool to turn them into deepfake images and share them online. Silence that no one wants to happen to themselves or someone close to 😔
📌 Call for fairness: A group of victims then decided to put together a lawsuit, to represent everyone who had been a victim of being taken for alteration without consent. 🛑
📌 Main Purpose: This lawsuit is not only a matter of damages, but wants to pressure technology developers to have more concise "Guardrails" to prevent users from using tools to create illegal content and violate the rights of others in the future. 🛡️
This clearly reflects how advanced and useful AI technology is, but "ethics" and "protecting users from cyber threats," especially to youth, are still the things that tech companies need to focus on first! 💡
