Keep an eye on SpaceX (SPCX) shares focused on the Nasdaq 100 index, global funds prepare to wade through to buy 🚀📊
Most recently, there are data confirming that SpaceX is going to be imported into the official Nasdaq Fast Entry Index, as the Nasdaq has a new rule that allows large IPOs with a market cap on the top 40 to enter the index after only 15 trading days. This will result in us starting to see huge amounts of money from this index fund and the global ETF based on the index, gradually being forced to acquire SPCX shares to align the portfolio.
🚀 expect the Nasdaq 100 Index to reweigh and receive SpaceX shares from Monday, July 6, 2026 onwards.
📈 Market Cap Update
According to the latest data check, SPCX shares are currently around US $150. Interestingly, shortly after entering the market, SpaceX's Market Cap once reached US $2.5 trillion, which led to it becoming one of the sixth highest-valued companies in the world, quickly surpassing many of the giants in the market.
⚠️ risk perspective
Despite SPCX stocks underpinning the grain of index funds waiting, newly entered technology stocks often experience high price volatility in the early stages.
