🔥 Japan Seriously! Stationed Type 25 missiles, 1,000 km operation range, historic stability upgrade. 🚀
⚡ a major move by the Japanese forces against a new generation of missile strategy and technology!
The people of Deep, Japan is now on track for the biggest level of defense in decades! The latest data suggests that the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) has already put the latest "Type 25 SSM" coastal defense missile system into service at Kengun Camp in Kumamoto Prefecture in March 2026.
The Type 25 SSM is the official name developed on the Upgraded Type 12 project. Interestingly, it has been extended to 1,000 kilometers or about 620 miles (from the original model, which shot about 200 kilometers). It is also designed with a stealth shape to reduce radar detection and can update the UTDC target in mid-air communications.
This missile system is a key in Japan's "Stand-off Defense" strategy. Having a high-precision long-range strike weapon will allow the military to manage its targets from a safer distance and reduce the risk of direct collision.
Not only that, Japan is looking as far back as 2032 by accelerating the development of a Hypersonic guided missile that flies faster than Mach 5 and uses a Dual Mode Scramjet engine to make it difficult to be intercepted from air defense systems, a weapon technology that Japan sees as a future game changer.
What we see from this movement is a very clear trend in the Indo-Pacific region, where many countries are accelerating the upgrading of high-precision, long-range attack weapons technology to cope with the increasingly complex stability of daily security. It is another long-awaited geopolitical move. 🌍
