The key selling point is not just technology, but competitive prices, fast delivery, and technology transfer or production in the buyer's country, so it grabs big customers in Poland, Romania, Australia, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. 🚀
📊, but there is one number to solve: the 2024 export contract balance is about $9,500 million, not $14,000 million, with the figure near $14,000 million belonging to 2023, while SIPRI classifies South Korea as the 10th largest arms exporter for the period 2020-2024, with a global market share of about 2.2%.
The South Korean government aims to rise to one of the top 4 defense industry leaders by 2030, with a new generation of AI, drone, space systems and military technology research statements added.
This is therefore not just arms sales, but strategy, turning heavy industry into a global engine, economy and bargaining power.
