Southern accent??

Having lived in the South for many years, I've grown to appreciate the warmth and character that the Southern accent adds to conversations. People often ask me if I'm 'going away' from my roots when I encounter accents from other regions, and I feel a deep pride in my Southern heritage. For many over 50 women and those from Generation X, this accent is a cherished part of identity, reminding us of family gatherings, stories around the dinner table, and the slower pace of life that feels comforting in today’s fast-moving world.
