... Read moreHey everyone! So thrilled you're checking out my 2024 Summer Bucket List! I've been dreaming up these adventures and hoping to make this summer truly unforgettable with my favorite people. It's not just about listing things; it's about creating memories and embracing the warmth and freedom of the season. Let's dive a little deeper into some of these ideas. For instance, that picnic on a boat? Imagine floating lazily on the water, sun shining, with a basket full of delicious snacks and good conversation. It's such a unique way to enjoy a meal and get a different perspective of your local scenery. If you don't own a boat, consider renting a small paddleboat, kayak, or even a pontoon for a few hours with friends. Don't forget sunscreen and some fun tunes! Tubing with friends is another absolute blast. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of gliding across the water, laughing as you hit waves. Make sure to check out local lakes or rivers that offer tubing rentals, and always prioritize safety with life vests. It’s a fantastic way to cool down and get an adrenaline rush! And who doesn't love a classic mini golf session? It's perfect for all ages, whether you're with friends or family. We always end up having the most hilarious competitive moments. Plus, it's usually followed by ice cream, which is a win-win in my book! If you're looking for something a bit more adventurous, maybe try golf cart riding around a scenic path or even a resort if they allow it. The state fair is an absolute must-do experience. The smells of fried food, the dazzling lights of the rides, the live music, and the unique exhibits – it's a sensory overload in the best possible way. Plan to spend a whole day there to soak up every bit of the atmosphere. And yes, shopping with friends is always on my list, especially when we find those hidden gems or cute summer outfits. It's more about the shared experience and mutual encouragement than just buying things. For those cozy, unique nights, a trampoline sleepover or a car sleepover can be surprisingly fun. For the trampoline, string up some fairy lights, bring out comfy blankets and pillows, and stargaze. For the car sleepover, find a safe, scenic spot (check local regulations!), pack some snacks, watch a movie on a tablet, and just enjoy the quiet night. These are super affordable ways to have a memorable night in. Finally, a water park with friends is the epitome of summer fun. Sliding down epic slides, floating in the lazy river, and just splashing around – it's pure joy. Look for season passes if you plan to go multiple times, or simply dedicate a day to soaking up the sun and cooling off. To make your own summer bucket list inspo truly happen, I recommend picking a few realistic items, setting a budget, and actually scheduling them in. Don't wait for "the perfect day" – sometimes the spontaneous ones are the best! I'm so excited to tick these off my list this year, and I hope this gives you some fantastic ideas for your own amazing summer!
