Innova Champion Tern

Okay, so I've been meaning to talk about the Innova Champion Tern disc for a while now, and honestly, it's become a staple in my bag. I picked one up a few months ago after seeing a buddy absolutely crush some drives with his, and I was instantly curious. I'm always looking for that extra bit of distance, and let me tell you, this disc delivers! It's super durable, meaning I don't have to worry about it getting too beat in and becoming flippy too quickly. This consistency is key when you're relying on a disc for those crucial long-distance shots. Plus, the grip is solid and reliable, even in varying weather conditions – a definite bonus when you're out on the course for hours. Now, while the Tern is a distance beast, it's important to note it's not always the best choice for super windy conditions, especially strong headwinds, as its understability can make it a bit unpredictable. However, on calm days or with a helpful tailwind, it absolutely soars, easily becoming my longest disc in the bag. I've personally added a significant amount of distance, easily 30-40 feet, to my average drives on open holes just by incorporating the Champion Tern into my lineup. It's become my go-to for pretty much any shot where I need to cover serious ground with a controlled, flowing flight path. If you're an intermediate player looking to push your distance boundaries, or even a newer player who's starting to get some decent arm speed and wants to experience true S-curve distance, I can't recommend the Innova Champion Tern enough. Just be mindful of your release angle, experiment with hyzer flips, and prepare to be amazed at how far this disc can go!
