My 5 Week Pregnancy Symptoms

Hello! I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant with my first child. I wanted to share some symptoms that I’m currently going through!

Exhaustion: When I found out 4 days before my missed period, there were two particular days leading up to me taking a test where I felt SO drained by 4-5 PM. Now I get tired after a few simple cleaning tasks around my home, and take a 4 hour nap😂😂.

Insomnia: I am usually not only a heavy sleeper, but one that can sleep through the entire night! Usually between 2-5 AM I wake up and can’t go back to sleep until 1-2 hrs from waking up.

Raw Breasts: Along with the exhaustion, I noticed this particular symptom as well for those two days leading up to me testing! It was different from a PMS pain in my breasts but my Nips felt RAW AF. Almost like the pain of a sunburn. They do NOT want to be touched😅.

Vivid Dreams: This one was a little controversial for me. I do occasionally dream. When I found out I was pregnant, 2 days prior, I had a dream that I was actively pregnant with a big baby bump and I could feel the baby kicking inside! I had NEVER had a dream like that before. Now 2 and a half weeks later sitting at 5 weeks, I have vivid dreams of the most random things and they feel so real. Or the dream is a bad dream and might need a second to wake up from it and process wtf just happened😂. It’s hit or miss.
