Save this and do this work out on Monday!!! 💪🏾💪🏾
30 minutes on the stairs master and sounds intimidating. I know. But this stairmaster is the one piece of Carter equipment that I recommend the most for actually recomping, the body.
Try doing this 2 to 3 times a week after your strength training, or as a workout on its own

ROUTINE:
1️⃣Start with a three minute warm up low intensity
2️⃣During the warm-up, do a little bit of glue activation to turn on the muscles
3️⃣Find the speed for your steady state and your push state, and do intervals between the two with a short brakes and between (level 6 is my steady state level 10 is my push)
4️⃣Every five minutes do a 1 minute sprint on the highest level you can go (Mine is typically between 12 and 15)
5️⃣ take short breaks as needed
Using the Stairmaster consistently can be a game-changer for your fitness journey, especially when your goal is body recomposition. One tip from personal experience is to focus on properly engaging your glutes during the warm-up phase, as this primes the muscles you'll use throughout the workout and helps prevent injury. When doing intervals between your steady state and push state speeds, listen to your body and adjust the intensity as needed, especially if you're new to stair climbing. Integrating short sprints every five minutes, as recommended, is a fantastic way to boost cardiovascular fitness and burn more calories, but make sure your form stays strong to avoid strain. Also, hydration is key during these workouts, given how intense stair climbing can be. Finally, scheduling this Stairmaster workout 2 to 3 times a week after strength training allows your muscles to recover while promoting fat loss and muscle gain simultaneously. Consistency is crucial—over weeks, many notice improved endurance, toned legs, and better overall conditioning using this method. Remember, the Stairmaster isn’t just for cardio; it intensifies your lower body workout, making it an efficient choice to shred and shape your body effectively.
