Intention of being recognized but because my craft is art
And I want to share it. Enjoy 💕
Also it never hurts to go to the dollar tree section , find the mochi in the freezer section, purchase a few, and go by your nearest water for the views ☺️
... Read moreYou know that feeling when you're just *cruisin' down the street*? There's something truly magical about it, especially when you're in a classic car. For me, it's not just about getting from point A to point B; it's an experience, a little slice of freedom, and pure nostalgia. That iconic phrase, 'cruisin' down the street in my '64,' isn't just a lyric; it's a whole mood, a cultural touchstone that perfectly captures the essence of open-road joy and classic American cool. That's why I started my 30-day photo challenge – to capture these moments and share the art I see in everyday life, focusing on the timeless allure of vintage automobiles.
Today was Day 3, and honestly, it felt like a dream. My lens found a gorgeous red classic convertible car, perfectly parked on a vibrant green lawn, with a shimmering blue boat on a trailer nearby. It was such a picturesque scene, straight out of a classic movie. Every curve, every gleam of chrome, tells a story of craftsmanship and adventure. I’m not just aiming to snap pictures; I'm trying to capture the whole vibe of being out there, soaking up the sun and the scenery. Later, I even spotted a sleek white sports car turning a corner on a busy street, with a parking lot full of cars and a tall building in the background. The challenge is to frame these moments, from the quiet elegance of a parked classic to the dynamic motion of a moving vehicle, like that white sports car passing a stop sign under a blue sky. The goal isn't just clicks or recognition; it's about honoring the craft of photography and sharing the inherent beauty I find in these magnificent machines.
There's an undeniable charm to a '64, an iconic cool factor that just draws you in. While the exact model might vary, the spirit of a classic '64 Impala, for instance, resonates deeply within car culture and music. It’s about more than just horsepower; it’s about the rumble of the engine, the feeling of the wind, and the memories it evokes. These classic cars are more than just vehicles – they’re pieces of history, moving sculptures that inspire songs and even memes. My challenge is to capture their essence, from the intricate details of a classic convertible to the dynamic energy of a sports car on the street. It makes me think about how many stories these streets have seen, how many adventures these cars have been on, and how they continue to inspire.
And after a day of chasing the perfect shot, often spent exploring different locales from sunny lawns to bustling city streets with their tall buildings and street lights, what better way to unwind than with a little treat? I recently discovered a simple ritual that just adds to the perfect "cruisin'" day. A quick stop at the Dollar Tree freezer section for some delicious mochi, then finding a peaceful spot by the water. There’s something so calming about watching the views, enjoying a sweet bite, and reflecting on the day's captures. It’s those small, simple pleasures that truly make life rich, adding a personal touch to my artistic journey.
This 30-day challenge is really pushing me to see things differently, to appreciate the artistry in everything around me – from the meticulous design of a vintage automobile to the peacefulness of a waterfront sunset. I hope you enjoy following along with my journey, as I continue to explore and capture the world, one classic car and one beautiful moment at a time. It’s all about finding joy in the everyday and sharing that spark with others, celebrating the timeless allure of classics and the simple pleasures of life.
