gisou hair mask review 🍯
rating: 9/10 🌟
price: $57 🏷️
review: 🫶🏼
After shampooing I applied the mask to my roots and ends. After letting it sit for 8 minutes wash it out thoroughly, skipping conditioner. Immediately after I noticed that my hair felt softer and silkier while wet. After letting it air dry my hair has never felt softer. I will be using this mask once a week from now on. I also noticed that it made my hair smell very clean and yummy. Overall 9/10 🌟 only because I wish it came in a bigger size and a little pricey!!

Since my initial review of the Gisou Honey Infused Hair Mask, I’ve had more time to incorporate it into my routine and discover extra tips and insights I wanted to share with you all! First off, let’s talk application. The original review mentioned applying it to roots and ends, and I still stand by that for an all-over treatment. However, if you have fine hair or tend to get oily roots, focusing more on the mid-lengths to ends can still give fantastic results without weighing down your hair. I've also found that while the recommended 8 minutes is great, leaving it on for 10-15 minutes on days when my hair feels extra parched or dull really supercharges the softening and nourishing effects. And yes, skipping conditioner really works – the mask is incredibly potent on its own! The texture of this honey-infused hair mask is just divine – it’s a rich, creamy consistency that spreads effortlessly through the hair without feeling heavy or sticky. And the scent? Absolutely heavenly! It has that signature Gisou honey fragrance that's sweet and luxurious, leaving my hair smelling fresh and 'yummy' for days. It really enhances the whole experience and makes wash day feel like a spa treatment. For those of you dealing with frizzy hair, you absolutely need to try this. I've noticed a significant reduction in frizz and a major boost in smoothness and shine. The honey in the formula, being a natural humectant, helps to draw and lock moisture into the hair, which is crucial for taming frizz and achieving that glossy, healthy look. My hair has never looked silkier or felt softer! While this isn't a traditional 'natural hair mask' you’d whip up in your kitchen like a milk and honey hair mask, it definitely harnesses the incredible benefits of real, sustainably sourced honey. Knowing that the honey comes from the Mirsalehi Bee Garden makes me feel good about using it. If you're looking for a high-performance mask that uses natural ingredients to deliver salon-quality results, this is a fantastic option. Finally, let's talk about the various sizes and packaging. The 75ml jar is perfect for a trial or for travel, but I found myself wishing for a larger size almost immediately! While there's a 230ml jar available, I'd honestly love an even bigger option for regular use, given how much I love it. Yes, it's an investment at $57, but considering how little product you need per use and the incredible transformation it brings to my hair, I genuinely feel it's worth the splurge for truly healthy, shiny, and manageable hair. It’s become a non-negotiable part of my weekly haircare ritual.
