K-Actors Spotlight: Choi Woo Shik

I first really noticed him in Train to Busan – who could forget his memorable role there? But his journey started even earlier. He gained critical acclaim for films like *Set Me Free*, showing off his dramatic chops right from the beginning. Then, of course, came the global phenomenon *Parasite*. What an experience watching him in that! His portrayal was absolutely brilliant, and seeing him on the Oscar stage was such a proud moment for all his fans worldwide. It really cemented his status as a major international talent. But he's not just about the big screen! If you're anything like me, you probably fell head over heels for him as Choi Ung in the K-drama *Our Beloved Summer*. His chemistry with Kim Da-mi was just off the charts, and he perfectly captured the nuanced emotions of a first love. It’s a must-watch if you haven't seen it, showcasing his ability to deliver a truly charming and relatable romantic lead. Whether he's sporting his often-seen curly hair or a more refined dark-haired look, his on-screen presence is always captivating. Beyond his acting, there are so many cool facts about him! It’s such a departure from his romantic roles, proving his range once again. And definitely keep an eye out for upcoming works like Melo Movie and Would You Marry Me?
