2/21: Things That Make Me Smile
🌞 Day 2:
This journey will be about finding myself and how it can help someone else who’s been stuck in a cycle.
After having baby number two it was hard to find my sense of self again. I started to think about the little things that would make me smile like; fresh flowers, music, writing, smell of rain, long walks, sitting on the porch, etc. This helped me to carry on in days that felt so chaotic.
It’s been taking awhile to find myself, all I’ve ever known was a version of me that is no longer there. I have faith in knowing that I’m just evolving into someone new.

Finding joy in everyday moments can significantly impact our overall well-being and happiness. Activities such as enjoying fresh flowers not only brighten our spaces but also elevate our moods. Research suggests that nature can enhance our emotional health, forging a deeper connection to our surroundings. Engaging in mindful practices like taking long walks, listening to music, or even writing can create a sense of peace and clarity. For stay-at-home parents or those navigating life's transitions, these small joys are crucial. They help us reconnect with ourselves and can serve as a therapy for the chaos of daily life. Embracing vulnerability and acknowledging our growth can provide a path toward self-improvement. Finding joy in these smaller moments fosters resilience and can inspire others facing similar challenges. Remember, each step toward self-discovery is a worthwhile journey that can help not just ourselves, but also those around us.
