6/21: Key to staying hydrated all day

🌞 Day 6:

I had a hard time being consistent with my water intake. Some tips that helped me ⤵️

⏰ set an alarm on your phone to drink some water, it might sound ridiculous but it’ll start that healthy habit.

🥤keeping a bottle of water nearby obviously helps, I put one in my purse.

💧this might not be for everyone but cute water bottles might make you feel like casually sipping on your water throughout the day.

📓 if you’re someone that keeps a journal I’d do a water intake chart, that way you can see progress on paper.

Water can only help you feel better throughout the day. Do your body a favor and start getting with it!

Not only does adequate water consumption support physical performance, but it also aids in cognitive function, digestion, and skin health. Experts recommend drinking at least 8 cups (64 ounces) of water daily, but this can vary based on individual needs such as activity level, climate, and health conditions. To make hydration easier, consider carrying a reusable water bottle everywhere you go. This not only helps you track your intake but also encourages sipping water regularly. Additionally, you can enhance the flavor of your water by infusing it with fruits like lemon, cucumber, or berries, making it more enjoyable to drink. Incorporating hydrating foods into your diet can also contribute to your daily intake. Foods like watermelon, cucumber, oranges, and strawberries are over 90% water and can help keep you hydrated. Setting goals, such as enjoying a glass of water before each meal or snack, can be an effective strategy to ensure you meet your hydration targets. Remember, staying hydrated is a crucial part of a healthy lifestyle. By implementing these simple strategies, you can make a significant difference in your water intake and overall health.
