Wedding tips 🫶

My wedding was an absolute dream come true but looking back there are things that I would change.

👉🏻Getting my husband a hairstylist. Some guys can do it on their own but ask your fiancé in advance if he’d like a barber/hairstylist.

👉🏻Let the photographer take as many pictures as they can. I was feeling so tired and I just wanted to sit down. I feel like we rushed toward the end because of my lack of energy and now I only have one picture of me alone in my beautiful gown.

👉🏻If you are having your wedding during the hotter months make sure you have a portable fan that a bridesmaid or groomsmen can hold for an in between picture refresh. I legit had sweat running down my legs.

👉🏻If you’re an oily girly have a bridesmaid near by with oil absorption pads or setting powder.

💫Additional Tips: It goes by so quick so enjoy every moment of it and don’t think you’re being too demanding!! It’s your day and you spent money to make sure everything is the way you want it. #bridetips #tipsforbrides #Lemon8Diary #weddingairvibes #weddingplanning

... Read morePlanning a wedding can be overwhelming, but small thoughtful details can make a huge difference in how you experience your special day. Many brides find that planning extra comfort measures—like having a portable fan during warm weather—can improve not only your comfort but also the quality of your photos. Carrying or having someone hold a personal fan helps keep makeup fresh and reduces sweat, especially if your celebration is outdoors or during hotter months. Moreover, considering your fiancé’s grooming preferences ahead of time is crucial. Some men prefer to handle their hairstyling casually, but booking a barber or hairstylist ensures they look their best and feel confident in front of the camera. It also helps prevent last-minute stress from unexpected grooming issues. Photography plays a huge role in preserving memories, so allowing your photographer to take plenty of pictures without rushing is key. Brides often feel exhausted right before events like the first look or couple's portraits, but those photos capture moments you’ll treasure forever. Taking short breaks and delegating tasks to trusted bridesmaids or groomsmen can make this process more manageable. Another common challenge is managing oily skin or makeup wear throughout the day. Designate a bridesmaid or attendant with oil-blotting papers or setting powder to help maintain a flawless look. These little helpers can make a surprising difference in photos and your comfort. Lastly, remember your wedding day passes extremely quickly. Don’t hesitate to speak up about your needs or preferences—it’s your moment to shine. Embracing this mindset ensures you enjoy every second and create beautiful memories without regrets. These proactive steps not only reduce stress but also help you stay present and savor your dream wedding day fully.
